Springtime - all over Germany, and especially in Bavaria, of course, beer gardens are open again. Deliciousdays.com carries a nice entry on some Munich beer gardens.

As a student I loved beer gardens a lot (Frankonia in Northern Bavaria is full of the nicest of them), but these days I have to count and recount and rerecount calories (and hate it!) and unfortunately beer carries lots of calories, so does the food served there - and Deggendorf to my knowledge does not provide as many attractive beed gardens as one might think. Bernhard, could you perhaps provide a list of Deggendorf beer gardens?
