Blog Break

It has been quite a while since my last blog entry.

Somehow writing entries did not work any longer, partly because events like hurricane Katrina or the September 11th anniversary made my own little ideas and problems seem petty and not so important to me, partly because the German election campaign depressed me a lot (anticipating the eventual dreary results ), partly because I felt so busy otherwise, partly because I felt tired and worn out and unenergetic overall.
I have not taken any photos in the last few weeks either, somehow I had lost energy and inspiration.

Nevertheless I have been reading and collecting material so that I do have quite a lot of entries in my mind, I feel a bit refreshed (though not quite) and I made a new time-table for myself with daily time for blog writing reserved which together should produce regular entries on an (almost) daily basis again. We will see :-)

PS: As for the discussion on hurricane Katrina´ s terrible results and President Bush´ s performance in the crisis you might want to look at an interesting entry in Samantha Burn´s blog .

PS2: Brainwagon´s sidebar has a poll for people to give reasons for their own blog break. :-) Check it out.

all i have to leave here for you is a sigh and a quote…

“As long as there is injustice, whenever a Targathian baby cries out, wherever a distress signal sounds among the stars, we’ll be there. This fine ship, this fine crew. Never give up… and never surrender.”

with an accent on “never give up… and never surrender.”

wish you all the best and see you on wednesday

Aw shucks! Go and make a good entry in your blog, dear! Blogs are all we really have (for I severely doubt that any Targathian babies will ever cry for the two of us - it is a pity, but that is how it is).

That’s the way the cookie crumbles :)
